Spring Yoga Classes

Energy Rising 6-Week Yoga Series

What: 6 Week Yoga Series
When: March 26th to May 7 (No classes on Tuesday April 23)
Times: Tuesdays and Thursdays: 9:00-10:00 am, and Tuesdays: 5:30-6:30 pm
Level: Moderate to vigorous paced class

Packages: Sign up for twice a week yoga classes and a FREE class is included
Pricing: $120 for the once a week 6-week series and $220 for the twice a week 6-week series

Class Description:

Embark on a dynamic 6-week journey of self-discovery and empowerment with our energizing Energy Rising yoga series. Designed for those craving a good sweat and eager to push their practice to new heights, this moderate to vigorous paced class is your gateway to growth. Variations and modifications of postures will be provided to work at a level that is right for you.


Gentle Warming 6-Week Yoga Series

What: 6 Week Yoga Series
When: March 28th to May 2nd
Times: Thursdays: 5:30-6:30 pm
Level: Gentle paced class focusing on flexibility, strength, and relaxation

Packages: Sign up for twice a week yoga classes and a FREE class is included
Pricing: 1 class/week = $120 and 2 classes/week = $220 (1 free class!)

Class Description:

Immerse yourself in a 6-week journey of tranquility and transformation with our gentle warming yoga series, meticulously crafted for those seeking a slower, nurturing practice that harmonizes body and mind. This series is designed to enhance your flexibility, build strength, boost circulation, improve balance, and promote deep relaxation. Variations and modifications of postures will be provided to work at a level that is right for you.

EMBRACING ACCEPTANCE AND TRANSFORMATION THROUGH YOGA ( 6 WEEK YOGA CLASS SERIES )

Yoga Class Description:

Accepting Yourself  exactly as you are can be hard. We Iive in a self improvement culture that feeds off feelings of inadequacy. One of the foundational teachings of yoga is that your wholeness is intrinsic to who you are. In essence, you are not deficient.

There is an old saying, “If you want to get where you want to be, you have to start where you are.” There is nothing more powerful than seeing reality clearly and also nothing more elusive. It's hard to see ourselves clearly! The practices of yoga help us to refine and clarify our perceptions. Even just getting a little bit clearer about where we actually are in space instead of where we think we are can be transformational.

This class will help you deepen self awareness of your physical body, greater emotional presence through both observing and directing the breath and help shift from unconscious patterns of thought and movement to more skillful action.

 

SELF CARE THROUGH YOGA ( 6 WEEK YOGA CLASS SERIES )

When and Pace: Wednesday's 4:00-5:00 pm (Gentle Pace) and 5:30-6:30pm (Moderate/Vigorous Pace)

Yoga Class Description:

Taking care of yourself isn't selfish.  We get a lot of mixed messages about that…

Yoga offers many different ways to care for yourself; physically, mentally and emotionally. In this 6 week series we will practice honoring the body, mind and heart through postures, pranayama and meditation. These mid-week yoga classes will help you to replenish and recharge just when your energy is flagging. Each week you can take home a short practice to help you keep your cup full. Get yourself on your list of priorities with Self Care Through Yoga.

 

Spring Yoga Reset - 8 week outside yoga series

Date: May 3rd - June 21st

Time: Wednesday’s 4:00-5:00 pm Spring Reset Gentle Yoga

5:30-6:30 pm Spring Reset Moderate/Vigorous Yoga ( This class is Full )

Location: Stone House Farm, 649 E Pleasant St, Amherst

Cost: $144 for 8 week series

This series is a spring cleaning for the body and mind. Over the course of the long winter, waste and toxins can accumulate in the body making us feel sluggish, stiff and heavy. Yoga practice can help us to feel lighter and shed toxins by increasing circulation through toning and mobilizing the body and through breath practices and postures that enliven our digestive fire and encourage elimination.

The fast pace of modern daily life can also leave our mind in a state of overload. Taking in more information and stimulation than our mind can process can leave us feeling mentally depleted and overwhelmed. Yoga practice gives us some much needed space to clear the mental cobwebs and mentally reset.

Each week this class will provide a different practice for clearing out the cobwebs of the body and mind. Every class will end with a delicious guided meditation and relaxation to help you unwind and deeply relax. We will focus on yoga practices in step with the spring that will help you to transition from Spring to Summer feeling refreshed, energized, healthy and light!

Sign up for one of the 2 sections: 4:00-5:00 gentle class or 5:30-6:30 moderate /vigorous class

The gentle class is appropriate for those wanting a slow paced class offering support for limited movement and injuries.

The moderate /vigorous class is appropriate for those open to a moderately challenging practice. Accommodations and variations will be offered in both classes. Please feel free to reach out to see what might be right for you.

Live Streaming Online Yoga Classes

Watch live streaming online yoga classes! Please make your purchase and download a free Zoom app at zoom.us. If you are dropping in, you need to Register for classes you want to take by emailing me. I will send you the zoom link 10 minutes prior to class time. People who have signed up for a series will receive the zoom link in the welcome letter.
