Attune To The Moon - 6-week yoga series to reflect and restore

As we transition from fall to winter, the days grow shorter and darkness becomes a familiar companion. This shift invites us to slow down and embrace the moon's gentle light, guiding us into a space of reflection and restoration.

In these turbulent times, finding balance is essential. Our six-week "Attune to the Moon" series offers a sanctuary to reconnect with yourself and the rhythms of nature. As the light retreats, we invite you to explore the calming, intuitive energy of the moon through Hatha Yoga.

This series will help you:

  • Practice Moon salutations and align with the Lunar cycle

The Yoga of Flow - 6 Week Yoga Series

This March and April, flow from Winter into Spring with some powerful yoga to help you navigate the transition.

As the seasons transition, so do we. This series is designed to help you navigate this shift by creating warmth and circulation, reducing tension, and cultivating a sense of ease and comfort. Through powerful and fluid yoga practices, you'll deepen your connection to your breath, expand your awareness, and find harmony within.

Grounding Yoga Through Standing Poses - 8 Week Yoga Series

This January and February at Build Yoga we are kicking off the new year with the intention of GROUNDING. There are a lot of big changes happening, socially, politically, and even astrologically. We invite you to get both feet firmly rooted on the ground  with our upcoming yoga series, "Grounding Yoga Through Standing Poses". This series will teach you grounding yoga poses and guide you in establishing a strong connection with the earth, fostering stability, balance, and presence so you can take in the goodness of the present moment and do the good work that needs doing in your life and in the world.

This series is all about grounding your energy, strengthening your body, and opening your heart. Through the regular practice of key yoga standing poses and enlivening variations, you'll deepen your understanding of how to get grounded and experience the mental, emotional, and energetic benefits that arise.

Discover Your Strength Within - 6 Week Yoga Series

This fall at Build Yoga and Wellness we are going to lean into the practices of yoga to strengthen and steady ourselves by focusing on our relationship to the core.

The core is the center of our body that stabilizes all movement, and, it’s also the connection to our empowerment and self esteem, and, it is the very core of who we are, our essence. There is a lot more to your core then simply your stomach muscles!

Delve into a journey of inner transformation, strengthening your body, cultivating relaxation, and nurturing self-awareness through gentle yoga, breath practices and meditation.

There is an old saying, “If you want to get where you want to be, you have to start where you are.” There is nothing more powerful than seeing reality clearly and also nothing more elusive. It's hard to see ourselves clearly! The spiritual practice of yoga helps us to refine and clarify our perceptions. Even just getting a little bit clearer about where we actually are in space instead of where we think we are can be transformational.

This series is a spring cleaning for the body and mind. Over the course of the long winter, waste and toxins can accumulate in the body making us feel sluggish, stiff and heavy. When you practice yoga, it can help you to feel lighter and shed toxins by increasing circulation through toning and mobilizing the body and through breath practices and postures that enliven our digestive fire and encourage elimination.

The fast pace of modern daily life can also leave our mind in a state of overload. Taking in more information and stimulation than our mind can process can leave us feeling mentally depleted and overwhelmed. Yoga practice gives us some much needed space to clear the mental cobwebs and mentally reset.

Each week this class will provide a different practice for clearing out the cobwebs of the body and mind. Every class will end with a delicious guided meditation and relaxation to help you unwind and deeply relax. We will focus on yoga practices in step with the spring that will help you to transition from Spring to Summer feeling refreshed, energized, healthy and light!

The gentle class is appropriate for those wanting a slow paced class offering support for limited movement and injuries.
