Q. Where do we meet?
Our primary training location is at my home: 763 East Pleasant St., Amherst, MA 01002. Weather permitting, we may also utilize a secondary outdoor training location.
Q. How often do we meet?
Typically, we meet weekly, which provides the best results for optimal health and wellness.
Q. Do we meet at the same time each week?
Yes, we prefer to meet at a regular time each week, though the schedule may vary as needed.
Q. How long is each session?
Each personal training session lasts one hour, allowing ample time for discussion and practice.
Q. What happens in a typical session?
We begin with a check-in to discuss your observations, answer any questions, and review previous material. The bulk of the session focuses on experiential practice, with the last ten minutes dedicated to reviewing key points and allowing time for notes.
Q. What happens in our first session?
During your first session, we’ll get to know each other better. We’ll review your completed questionnaire, conduct a postural and movement screening, and set your goals for the program.
Q. What happens if I come into training with a pre-existing injury or limitations?
I tailor my personal training classes to suit your individual needs, providing appropriate instruction for any injuries or limitations you may have.
Q. Do we wear masks?
I will wear a mask during sessions. Masks are not required for vaccinated individuals, but you are welcome to wear one if you prefer.
Q. Are vaccinations required?
Vaccinations are not mandatory, but masks are required for those who are unvaccinated.
Q. Do you have a cancellation policy?
We require 48 hours’ notice to reschedule without losing your session.
Q. How do I reschedule outside of 24 hours?
You can reschedule directly through the Calendly confirmation email from your original booking.
Q. Can I book a recurring appointment?
Yes, after booking your first session, you can request recurring appointments in the notes section. Once approved, you will receive additional notifications.
Q. How do you assess the success of our program?
We conduct quarterly evaluations to monitor your progress and make any necessary adjustments to your training plan.
